Register at Source ASEAN Website

Dear All,

In the post-quota era it is now more important than ever to look for cost-effective ways to boost your company’s competitiveness.

The ability to find and attract new business is the most critical aspect—and the most efficient way of reaching new global customers today is via the internet.

At the Bangkok International Fashion Fair, August 13-16, the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX) will launch a new internet-based marketplace, networking, and news portal at www.SourceASEAN.com.

Called “Source ASEAN”, the website gives you the chance to position your company in the global marketplace as a provider of quality Southeast Asian textiles, apparel, and related products.

Registration is free for members of AFTEX-affiliated associations—for exclusive benefits, pre-register now at www.SourceASEAN.com.

Source ASEAN allows you to:-

·         Edit and update your searchable company profile at any time. Your profile page can host your contact details, pictures, a video, and your range of products.

·         List promotions and stock clearances as a seller in the searchable classifieds.

·         List your sourcing and supply needs as a buyer in the searchable classifieds.

·         Browse buyers’ listings and directly contact those with whom you want to do business.

·         Expand your business network and solicit testimonials via the contact and messaging system.

·         Post your company news releases in the “Spin” news section, with the possibility of being featured in a regular newsletter.

·         Discuss industry news and debate trade policy in the “Threads” discussion forum.

AFTEX is offering an exclusive opportunity to members of AFTEX-affiliated associations to pre-register for free. Simply visit www.SourceASEAN.com and complete the pre-registration form.

Given that it will only cost a minute or two of your time, the benefits of pre-registration are significant, including:-

·         Give your company exposure to the fanfare and publicity expected during and immediately after the official public launch of Source ASEAN at the Bangkok International Fashion Fair in August.

·         Enjoy free access to premium services for 12 months. This will allow you to make your profile and classifieds listings stand out from your competitors at no extra cost.

After you complete the pre-registration form at www.SourceASEAN.com, simply wait for an email from Source ASEAN in late June. The email will give you login details for your account and tips on how to prepare your company profile and post listings for the big launch in August.

Source ASEAN is the official sourcing website of the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX). It was developed by the US Agency for International Development (USAID)’s ASEAN Competitiveness Enhancement (ACE) Project in consultation with AFTEX.
